If you are new to Primary Care Animal Hospital, we welcome you and your pet to our practice! Our doctors and team strive to make your first visit as convenient and comfortable as possible. Please let us know when you schedule your appointment if you or your pet have any unique needs so we can best accommodate you.
Because we tailor our wellness plans to each individual pet patient, we ask that you bring any previous records of veterinary treatment, when possible. This includes adoption or breeder info, vaccine records, spay/neuter certificate, current medications, and any major current or past medical treatment. We’ll have you complete a New Client Form upon your arrival, and we can also reach out to previous veterinarians to collect records for you if desired. While you wait, you can enjoy a refreshment from our beverage center.
Once you’re checked in, you’ll be roomed by one of our client relations specialists, and a technician will be with you shortly to take some initial vital signs and discuss a brief history. Our doctor will then provide a hands-on physical exam of your pet, discuss treatment recommendations, and address any questions or concerns you might have. We pride ourselves on giving you our full attention during your appointment, and we are always available by phone or email for any follow-up.
